Mission to reduce emissions

After investing in plans to embrace electric cars and hybrid models, the Government are now looking to reduce carbon emissions of the average vehicle on the road.

New plans look to reduce the speed limits on stretched of motorways. The first of these was the M1 which saw a cut of 10mph along a 32mile stretch in an attempt to reduce emissions, lowered congestion and improve journey times. The next in line to see a reduction will be a stretch of the M3 which will see a reduction to 60mph in order to reduce air pollution too.
